A monitor is a monitor. So long as it takes the industry standard VGA
signals, it will work...assuming that your PC puts out VGA signals. :-)
450MHz machine? Practically guarantee that it does. The computer
won't care if it's a tube, an LCD, a plasma system, a DLP projector...a
monitor is a monitor is a monitor.

Um, this price is quite a bit higher than they sell for, locally.
(Outside of Dallas, TX, USA) Check out the sale ads, especially this
time of the year, for Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, etc...I've seen 14"
SVGA LCD monitors for CHEAP lately. Like $120 and under, without
shipping costs. Not positive of their native resolution, but 1024x768
is fairly common. They seem to be "discontinuing" or otherwise clearing
out the smaller displays, in favor of the 15"-17" ones.

Now...CNC topic. How will you mount the keyboard and monitor, so they
don't get completely clogged up with dust, or worse yet, filings? I'm
using a laptop, and just keep it closed most of the time...old IBM ThinkPad.
