I'm getting ready to start a retro on an late 80's toolroom cnc lathe
I got with a shot control. I think the servo amps are in good shape
and am planning on trying rutex 991h model to get the analog signal I
need from the various flavors of parallel port step/direction conyrol
softwares. Currently TurboCNC is at the top of my list.
I'll let you in on how my conversion goes. Keep me posted on yours
if you decide to attempt it. Maybe we could learn from each other's
mistakes.
Anyone on the list tried running the rutex step/direction to analog
converters?
