I believe I have hard of someone adapting EMC for the Taig; the controller
has a "phase drive" interface rather than the more common "step and
direction", so it needs some (software) tweaks to make EMC handle it IIRC.
You might consider going for the "CNC ready" mill and fitting different
driver electronics (for example, a Xylotex board) if you are going down a
different software track from the standard Taig setup.
