Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] How to plug on 115 Vac router on 230 Vac ?

Hi all,

For a normal router(means brush motor), frequency should not matter.
They all use universal motors, and work the same from even DC. Actually
some of the speed control electronics do rectify the current. Be aware,
that a 3hp transformer or variac may cost more than the router. Price
the xformer before buying the router!

best regards,

vajk
