Hello,
Parts washer pumps (available at HF), and Bilge pumps for boats (at
WestMarine) both work. These are not diaphragm type pumps, and both
are designed for oily environments... The bilge pumps are available
in several sizes, and both 12V and line powered are available.
Be sure to use a screen on the return line, to keep the big pieces
out of the pump.
Hope this helps,
Ballendo
P.S. I've used HF's smallest parts washer as a sort of portable flood
coolant system with my CNC's for awhile now. Works well, and is very
inexpensive. Just have to ad some tubing for the additional distance,
and pay attention to relative heights between the pump and the nozzle-
-the pump isn't designed for a large "head" (the vertical distance
the pump must push the water)
