What are the components that make up a belted spindle assembly? I've thought about this for a mill I'm making, but don't know enough about them to know what I need to buy or fabricate. I need to be able to run up to 9000 rpm, and don't need much Y travel at all. Spindle will be stationary with a moving carriage/table But at the price for high-tech, high-speed spindle drives it's an idea that has a lot of appeal!
