I regularly run Bobcad/CAM V16.1 on Win 2K Pro under VMware on my
Linux systems, both at home and at work. It runs perfectly well.

I also run a VERY complicated electronic CAD/CAM system that way, and
it also runs flawlessly. VMware is an AMAZING product, although not
freeware. It also requires you to have a full Windows OS. I haven't found
anything that doesn't work right on it. It may not work with a Real Time
Linux system, I don't know.
