Ah, yes, 6 wires (or 7, with a ground) would be right for resolvers.
But, some
encoders have been labeled cos and sin, even clearly digital encoders.
Why would a resolver NEED a circuit card? Or, maybe the circuit card is
a resolver to quadrature converter? (A far hope, I know.)
