Elm Will display it, it just looks butt ugly.
The real problem comes when I try to post a reply.
The system will generate a reply, and prepend a > on each "Line"
There IS only one line, and then I have to add your Carriage Returns
and add the attributions.
The simply fact is having actual carriage returns is the standard,
your setup is the non-standard one.
