Kim,

Dunham Company sells small bar pullers. I bought one of their
assortments including a shank and a few sizes of gripper sleeves. I
think it was around $100. They work very well.

The shank included in my assortment wasn't the right size for my
machine so I made a new one. The interesting thing is the grippers
screw onto the shank and they used a 5/8"-23 thread!!!! Apparently
they did that so it would be hard to make your own shanks, but it's
not really hard since the only use for a bar puller is on a CNC
lathe where it's a piece of cake to cut odd threads.

Regarding making your own pneumatic bar feeder.....it's very easy.
All that's needed is smooth bore tube closed at one end and a simple
pusher with a leather cup seal.
