Hi Jerry
I have a Cnc milling machine and now retrofitting a lathe to newer
electronics it can be done but it's not easy, you have to have time
money and patients and perseverance to get it done other wise you
wasting your time and money retrofitting a bridge port to 3 axis you
have to install ball screws and then the stepper or servo motor's
belt drive connections to the ball screws and then you need a program
and signal generator to drive them and I forgot you also need to get
it all sorted out this is what I am trying to do with a lathe I am
working on right now compatibility issue can drive you nut's that is
unless you purchase a complete system from a dealer already set up
and running.
