Well the angle is due to the fact that I want to mount this thing to a
piece of 18"x24" granite. The foot will give a good base to mount it
with. The XY slides only leave so much room for the vertical support.
It will have a lot of overhang regardless as the Y travel is 12" so I
had to make a cutout in the vertical to clear the table. The wooden
parts are just to verify the dimensions before I make something of
aluminum or steel. The router will initially be a Rotozip, but I will
do something more substantial in the future if everything works well.
