Gentlemen
I came across some boards that might be of use to someone, even
me if I knew what they were. One has a hand written date
on one of the chips indicating 1995. The board say microcontroller 1.
They are 5 x 7 inches. The connector across the end has 40 fingers.
10 are hooked up to the circuit on the board. With the fingers at the top,
in the upper left (component side) is a 5 volt regulator device with
double heat sinks. on the right side are two connectors. One is a
14 pin (2 rows of 7) and the other 20 pin (2 rows of 10)
Next comes a Zilog Z8 Z0867108PEC CPU (?)
Next major component is a 28 DIP socket with a 24 Dip device
Below this is a SN74150N 24 DIP device feeding 8 8 DIP devices
each of which goes to two resistors and thence to a 40 pin (2 rows
of 20 like above). These look like maybe they would go to the coils
of stepping motors ? ? ?
On the left side at the bottom are 14, 16, 18 DIP devices that go
to another 40 pin connector.
I got these wih some Pacific Specialties (Now Danaher) drivers,
stepping motors. I really just thought I wanted the stepping motors
as they are like the ones on a MAX NC Table Top mill and hoped
someone would want some to.
