that's an old style board.

Yep, microprocessor.

Probably ram or rom, as a guess.

8 dip devices, possibly something like 75451 or 75452, they're dual
drivers, although 8 is probably not needed, not sure why 8, since 4
would work unless they paralleled both drivers in the chip (8
drivers). could also be optoisolators

74150 is a 16 input to 1 multiplexor, so it sounds more like it's
looking at 16 inputs, would be good for sensing home/limit switches.

can't help here, although those might be some sort of driver.
