Dyna 2400 Communications

Hi,
I'm new to this site but noticed a lot of messages about Dyna Mills.
I recently purchased a Dyna 2400 and would like to be in touch with
others using these machines.
Everything seems to work very nicely on mine, but I have not yet been
sucessfull communicating with it. I have tried with two different
laptops, one is a pentium 3 650Mhz running Windows ME and the other is
a 486DX100 running windows 98. I've tried using Mastercams downloader,
Windows Hyper Terminal and the DOS program that comes in the user
manual of the Dyna. Nothing works so far.
I downloaded the DynaComm.exe program from the files area of this
site (posted by jeff_birt2000) and am currently downloading the .NET
Framework required to run the app. My question is, will this program
work in the windows environment, and if so what version/machine should
I run it from.
Dyna technicians told me I may have a defective chip, but the other
features that the particular chip controls are working fine.
Anyone have any ideas or recomendations?
