My dream!

My hobby is woodworking and I'd like to build a CNC router that can
cut wood and plastic (pcbs).

Requirements:
Cutting area half sheet or 1m x 1m
Simple construction
Accuracy 1mm in 1 meter

Design.
Stepper motors driving "allthread" stainless threaded rod.
Material stationary, tool moves in x+y+z
Tool moves on a sliding carriage like commercial CNC routers

Are there any wood CNC router designs out there? Feedback and ideas
welcome.
