FS: NEAT Stepper X-Y Stage W/Microstepping Controllers

I have too many hobbies and not enough time or money, so I'm dropping
a project- I was going to make a PCB machine with this.


I'd like to sell a NEAT X-Y 6" x 6" X-Y stage, with dual-shaft
steppers and adjustment knobs. I THINK that it is a leadscrew model,
6" x 6" , the specs are at:

Very impressive capacity and accuracy.

I do not think this was ever used outside of an IBM clean room - I
suspect that it was used for inspection (probably never in a machine
shop or dirty factory). Super quality and in excellent condition.
There is a extra mounting plate bolted on top. Stepper connections
and (I think) limit switches are via DB-9 connectors. The motors


Included are two Oregon Micro Systems microstepping controller
modules, model MD10A, with 10 microsteps per step. Hookup is very
simple, with pulse and direction; voltage is 24-60V and current is
set by one user-provided resistor (Don't forget to use it!!). I
tested these off of an AT power supply at 12 volts and a parallel
port and they worked great (although probably not at the full power
you would get from 24+ volts).

First $250 or best reasonable offer - a small fraction of the value.
One catch: You have to send me a picture of what you make with it!!!


Shipment will paid by purchaser via UPS from KY (US ONLY); This is a
30+ pound item and the last one I had packed (professsionally) and
shipped cost about $40 to my zone 4. I will provide a shipping
receipt and you will pay only what it costs me to ship.

going to take apart and sell the remaining pieces to someone on this
list (a moderator?) who I had sold one of these to before. I lost my
