You are correct, and the Centroid does have a text editor. It is used to
edit the G code directly if the user prefers to do that. It isn't
necessary as the user can make changes in the "conversational" programming,
press F10 and have the G code file altered almost instantly.

Should the need arise I could create a text document, put it on floppy and
transfer it to my "real" computer, but for what purpose???? Hummmmm, maybe
I could write a letter to the editor while watching parts being
made. Nope, gotta have Linux for that, I think. :-)

BTW, the text editor in Centroid is definitely NOT edlin. Yep, I remember
that one too. What an abomination that thing was.
