OK, I pinned down were the oil is leaking out of my Bridgeport:

I removed the bellows on my Bridgeport Y axis lead screw. The
bearing block (this is not a BP original table, so take this in
context) at the motor end is designed to act as a dam and hold the
lubricant in the bellows (which in turn are connected to an oil
resevoir surrounding the cross nuts).

Anyhow, the bearing is leaking. The side of the bearing towards the
column is a solid flange with the screw shaft penetrating it. It is
apparently threaded into the casting (with "T" slots on the motor
side of the bearing. Looking from the motor side, the interior disk
surrounding the shaft rotates with the shaft. Lubrication seems to
be leaking along the shaft and out the edges of the rotating disk (or
maybe along the shaft - not real sure). The shaft retaining nut is
against the rotating disk part of the bearing.

Is anyone familier with this type of bearing and has some idea of how
to remedially seal it? BTW, removal of the bearing from the BP is
impractical, and to be honest, I could unscrew it, so it may be
cemented in.
