I did this retrofit in 2001 by replacing the motors with Litton
Poly-Scientific brushed motors with 500 line encoders, and Dan Mauch's
control box with G340 Gecko drives. Had to replace the pulleys and
belts . The hole pattern for mounting was the same and made for an
easy replacement. Dan has equivalent motors for about 200 bucks each,
C23 frame size.
