DeWalt has one that comes with 1/8 and 1/4" collets, so you could use
router bits in it.
The other thing to think about is how long the tool can be left on - I
know routers are meant to be used fairly continuously, I'm not so sure
about a laminate trimmer. The motor on a router is also quite a bit
beefier than a trimmer (or a rotary tool).
