Got the x axis to move over 120ipm with a standalone pulse generator
triggering the Gecko drive. Nothing wrong with the Geckos or the
motors inspite of the motor being Nema 42 with a 3100 oz/in rating.
The headphone test reveals a smooth tone emanating from the stepper
motion board. So, I am still in the dark as to why I am limited to
20 ipm. Seems to be a problem from the motion board back to the
computer. Unfortunately, I have no control over the step pulse
characteristics other than rate. I will find an oscilloscope and
give that a whirl.
