I have Bobcad V18 and it is simple to use. You have to get the training CD's. You can become proficient with it in just a few hours of playing with it as long as you understand it. The CD's play right on your Windows mediaplayer and are like having an instructor right with you. They cover all aspects of the software and are about 14 hours long. Trying to figure it out in its entirety on your own would not be very likely. I learned Autocad R14 on my own and after about 10 years of using it occasionally, I'm still not very proficient with it.
