Thanks for all the replys. Really frustrating and I do appreciate
the help!
Last night I bought a EMI filter at the local electronics surplus
store. I also got a Radio Shack "appliance filter". I hooked up the
EMI filter to the controller and the computer. The Radio Shack
filter I hooked up to the Sherline spindle motor. This certianly
helped but not 100%. Next I added the .68uF, 200V cap across the
motor leads inside the Sherline speed control box. I've since ran my
~7 minute program about 4 times with the spindle on and zero glitches!
Not declaring 100% victory yet but it seems the problem is now licked.
