Hi Alan

Tcl is a scripting language similar in some ways to visual basic..

A couple of books that I use are:

Tcl/Tk Programmer's Reference by C. Nelson, and
Practical Programming in Tcl and Tk by Brent Walsh

The latter is a fairly weighty tome and somewhat heavy going in places.

For the specifics on the tcl extensions used to interface to emc, you'd
probably be wise to subscribe to one of the emc lists and ask there.
