Yes, it should work fine with a Gecko 201 or 210. 50 V sounds pretty good.

You may want to check with others that have done similar machines if a
305 Oz-In
stepper motor would be sufficient for such a use. Steppers have such a
steep
torque loss curve that belt reduction usually makes it worse.
