Hi Simon,

Didn't you say it was a 24 inch square plate and 1/4 inch thick ?

I'm not totally sure how you are setting the stuff up, actually I'm
not totally even sure how the hex-a-pod stuff all works...

Anyway, cutting aluminum with a really thin frame is going to be
pretty hard. For a 24 inch square machine base for a standard tool,
I would expect something on the order of an inch thick.

But ya gotta keep us posted on your progress.
