UHMW ACME NUTS......

Has anyone had any luck (or experience) tapping UHMW plastic for use
as an ACME nut. I am looking to use 1/2-10 ACME threaded rod for a
lead screw. This will be in a very dusty enviroment, so I am
thinking I want the screw to run dry, thus, the desire for a UHMW
nut.
