Hi Larry,
sorry for taking so long to reply regarding the Kavo 4444 inverter. I can't
give you very much information for the inverter which was supplied with a
mismatched 24 volt spindle motor. The 4444 has a 240 volt primary toroid in
it for power and I think it's for 40 volt motors.
It faults out with an error code on start up, because it has several
protection shcemes built into it's functionality, and certainly because I do
not have an acceptable motor load to try it out on. The entire spindle
motor/inverter package came with a 'project' LPKF router which never ran, and
the spindle motor supplied was 24 volt by it's nameplate.
I'm unable to get upport for establishing a test procedure to evaluate it's
condiion from Kavo ( Germany) who keeps referring me to Centerline Spindles
in the USA.
