Converting HF 12x36 or Grizzly G4003 to CNC

Has anyone converted a HF or Grizzly 12x36 lathe over to CNC ?

I just purchased a HF 12x36 and I am starting the CNC conversion.
Before I begin the process, I was hoping to get some insight on how
someone else mounted the motors and such. What is the best place to
connect to .... Photos or links

Any help would be great.
