RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] W-1 Drill rod and UK

W-1 is just water hardening tool steel. I would think that for what you're
trying to do, you could use A-2 or O-1 drill rod should do as well though if
you want something really wear resistant you might want to look into some
D-2.
