By interface, do you mean the on-screen GUI? I really don't see a huge
difference
between the EMC GUI and the one for Mach2. Both are customizable, too.
(The EMC GUI may take a bit more study to learn how to do that.)

If you mean the ease of INSTALLING EMC, that is a different matter. There
have been problems, I agree. I have found the BDI-Live! to be MUCH
easier to
install than even the previous BDI versions.
