Okay, I bought a hurco KM1.. the mains where wired for 440 (i hve
wiring diagrams)that can run from either 440 (2 phases into 2 legs)
or 220 (2 phases into 4 legs)

question is

would i let the smoke out of it if I wanted to run it off single
phase, using each leg as a phase?
