The encoder wiring best guess would typically be as follows:
Bare wire = Shield Ground (5VDC Common)
Red wire = + Volts (+5VDC)
Black = Signal A Sine
Black with White = Signal A-N Sine-N
Grey = Signal B Cosine
Grey with White = Signal B-N Cosine-N
Orange = Signal Z Marker
The wire with no wire in the middle is a filler for the cable.
This filler keeps the cable round and symetrical.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Encoder wiring schematic help
Hi,
I have a minertia motor mini series T03L -DP11 servo motor with
encoder. I can't find a wiring schematic for the encoder. It has a
round multi conductor wire with no plug or connector. Red, orange,
black, grey, grey with black stripe, white with black stripe, bare
shield wire. And something I have not seen before... a "wire" with no
wire in the middle.
I looked inside and it has two channels and an index on the encoder
wheel. I checked Yaskawa and could not find any info on the encoder.
Nothing on a google search...
Any ideas how to connect this?
Thanks
