Vertex H/V table as 4th axis

I'm considering using a Vertex horizontal/vertical rotary table as
the basis of a 4th axis on my Bridgeport Interact 1.
Has anyone pulled one apart to see what the bearings are like on the
8" or 10" sizes ?
(This will have a fairly beefy servo motor grafted onto the worm
drive)
