PMDX has another new product ready to go. We will be exhibiting the
PMDX-103 General Purpose Parallel Port Isolator at the NAMES show
this coming weekend, 23/24 April. Information on this product is
available at:
http://www.pmdx.com/PMDX-103/index.html
It isolates ALL pins of the parallel port, making it useful for
providing isolation to Rutex, Xylotex, HobbyCNC and other motor
driver systems that utilize non-isolated logic level inputs. It is
also useful for other general purpose interfaces that need isolation.
It operates only in the output mode of the printer port and does not
support bi-directional tranfers through the data port. Geckodrive,
and many other industrial grade motor drivers already have isolation
on their inputs and will not benefit from additional isolation. For
these types of systems we recommend our other breakout board products.

PS - We have one more new product up our sleeve, but you will have to
wait until we have the prototype running and can take a photo.
