Not really. If that "works" at all, you will only get about 2/3 the
secondary voltage, or to put it another way, there are probably at least SIX diodes
in the rectifier after that transformer, and TWO of those would never pass
current. I'd suggest a ROTARY converter. There are ways to rig a plain ol'
3-phase motor with a single-phase "starter motor" to get fairly good 3-phase.
