Thanks for the feedback. I had a feeling these motors were probably
being overhyped.

However, for a low budget machine mostly for prototyping, maybe I
could live with 4 to 1 reduction and the slower transit times.

Since the cost is about the same (about $200. each) I guess the
question is would I be better off with these servo motors at 4 to 1
or a set of 1200 oz-in stepper motors in direct drive?
