4 Wire DC motor - dumb question time...

Hello,

I just received a 2hp treadmill motor to use as a spindle motor for a
small lathe. It has 4 wires coming out of it. Red and Black (I know
what those are), and two blue wires. The blue ones have a male and
female connector already put on them, as if they plug in together.

Anyone know what those two are for?
