Hi Jon,

The motor stays stalled. This provides a preload on the ratchet to help
prevent the tool moving. As the current through the motor is limited by
a resistor, the motor is not harmed by this treatment. On the two
toolchangers I worked on, the motors were only slightly warm to the touch.
