This has configured a CVS server (or repository) on your machine. If you want
to use CVS for a personal project, this is great, for using an external
repository, totally unnecessary.

No password required for anonymous checkouts - As Jon pointed out, the name is
wrong.

The emc2 source tree is 5.5Megs in total. If you got a 20K zip, something is
wrong. If you want to see what you should have got, browse
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/emc/emc2/
