Re: Rotary Phase Converter and Voltage stabilization

Hi Chaps,

I've got a 0.75hp Brooks Compton 3ph motor in Star configuration
(requires 415V) and I have a single to 3ph converter that only puts out
line voltage ( UK, 240V). I need to rewire the motor in Delta
configuration.

I know I need to take the brown, black and white wires & pair them
onto the red, yellow and blue wires but I don't know which should go
with which.

Any of you old hands done this before? Or can I work it out with an
AVO?
I looked through the archive using PGO. I can find reference to people
doing this but not *how* they did it.
