Hi gang,
Merry Christmas (or, if more appropriate, Happy Holidays).
I have a question re: rotary phase converters (RPC) and CNC work.
Have any of you converted a larger mill to CNC while using a RPC? I
have seen on some sites that a "voltage stabilizer" is needed to keep
the current fluctuations to under +/- 5%. Have any of you done CNC
conversions without this stabilizer, or, is it a must have component.
My mill is 3hp 3ph 9.6amp draw ran out of my garage (residential
power)
Thanks
John
