Ohhhhhh, NOOooooo! I'll bet these things are in blue plastic cases with
a paper label, with the size rubber stamped in blue ink! I had been buying
overstock, etc. end mills from a couple of outfits with excellent luck,
until
the above-described CRAP started turning up in everybody's sales flyers.
The last batch looked like they'd been free-hand sharpened by a blind
90-year
old guy, and this is giving a bum rap to the blind and aged! These end
mills
lasted a couple minutes each before they started to break down. I vowed
"Never again!" I've had much better luck since then buying only M-42 and
M-57 Cobalt cutters, which are of much better quality, both metallurgically
and in terms of sharpening, and the M-42 lasts 5 times as long as plain
HSS in mostly aluminum machining. On sale, these M-42 cutters are hardly
any more than the HSS junk (although I don't find them for $1.00)

Do you know WHY WT is selling these at $1.00? Because all the shops are
now wise to these crap cutters, and wouldn't pop $1.50 for them!
