Jon, Thanks for the rousing endorsement. I bought 80 of them and now you tell me :-). Oh well, they are only 20 miles from me, if I dont like them I'll just take them back. I don;t know what you mean by blue blow molded sleeves and paper labels, alot of endmills are packaged this way. If you look at the dollar endmills, they are odd sizes. Thats why they are so cheap. all of the common sizes (under 7'8" and 1" shank) were normal prices.

If you go in person, and they come in blow-molded blue 2-piece protectors
with paper labels, you will know it is the same stuff I complained about.
The first lot I got were only mediocre, but the sharpening wasn't notably
bad. The last batch WAS really bad, crooked end sharpening, wildly
uneven gashing, etc.

As for the getting old, and not really blind, but definitely a narrowing
of the
good focus range of my eyes, it is happening way to fast for me!
