They are fast enough, but won't register DC. I think that would be a

A 1 MHz bandwidth, or even 1 MegaSamples/sec would be fine for most servo
tuning. I got one that was quite a bit better than that, because I have
other
uses for it, but the bandwidth of these servo control loops is quite
low, in the
several hundred Hz range, for small signals, and in the range of a couple Hz
of full-power bandwidth. So, I think any storage scope, digital or
storage tube
will suffice for servo tuning.
