Depending on you final goal (type of output and quality expected) the
results from any of these packages will be less than acceptable (hours
and hours of cleanup to get something that will cut smoothly).

If you want to "simulate" photos by cutting dots in a surface then you
can do it directly from the bitmap import in MACH2/3. It takes a LONG
time to do a photo.

AutoCAD LT is a great tool for drawing geometric objects and
mechanical stuff. For doing "artsy" stuff involving a lot of text or
bitmap it is not the best choice.
