Looking at VXB.com on angular contact bearings, the 17mm is rated for
888 pounds static and 1,000 pounds dynamic.

Not sure if that is axial or radial.

Home much power/force do you need ?

Another way is to weld a section of metal on the end of the screw.
the weld will break the case hardening and the new metal will allow
you to make any diameter you want.
