EDM cutting speed is closer to inches per hour, but it leaves a great
finish.

A belt sander would probably the needed to clean up the edges. for
most methods of punching and sawing will leave cut marks.

Milling or EDM can be done with no marks.

Punching will need bunches of small nibbles and will most likly leave
ridges.

router would act like a mill. samll burr on the edges need a little
file to clean up.

plasma would leave scortched metal and require sanding.

EDM, laser and water would leave perfect edges.
