Be careful with brushless motors. Every manufacturer uses a different
encoder/hall effect sensor system. Very few are interchangeable. Contact
the drive supplier and make sure the drive is compatible with your motor.
Have you checked the brushes and commutator on the Fanuc motor? If the
commutator is dirty, clean it with 600 grit or finer abrasive paper. A
dirty commutator or worn out brushes will make a motor very hard to tune.
